Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to make a website?
It depends how complex you want your site to be. If it's just going to be a few pages, it would probably take about a month or two. If it's going to be several pages that have more content on them, it will take longer. We may also need things from you in the process, so you control it there.
Advanced site design takes a bit longer, probably around six months, because of the amount of work that needs to be done. These are generalizations, and your project may take less or more time than this.
How much control do I get in the project? Do you do the whole thing or get my input?
Of course we get your input. After all, it is your project, not ours. If you want us to do the whole thing by ourselves we can, but we have a feeling you'd like a say in the way other people see your business. We always welcome your thoughts on a project. We may have recommendations for you, but you get the final say in everything.
While building a website, we can post demos of your site on our server so that you can monitor its progress and let us know if anything needs changing. We won't stop working on your project until you're satisfied.
How much will my project cost?
This is hard for us to predit. We charge by the hour, so it all depends on how long your project takes (see above).
What programs do you use?
It all depends on the type of project, but we know how to use Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Microsoft Publisher, Powerpoint (really all of office, although we don't use the others that much), a few different HTML editors, and some other programs you've probably never heard of.
Is there Flash content on this site?
Nope. Any effects are powered by the jQuery Javascript library.
